Our goal is to add more beneficiaries throughout the Greater toronto area. This year, we are happy to be helping the following non-profit organisations.
Regeneration Community Outreach of Brampton is a caring community that strives continually to provide dignity for those in need. They serve the homeless, those at risk of homelessness, and those living in extreme poverty by meeting their physical and spiritual needs.
Regeneration offers breakfast seven days a week and lunch once a week to members of its community. They also provide essential care in the form of ID clinics, clothes closet, hygiene and health care, weekly life skill classes, art classes, and board game days.
Ste. Louise Outreach is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers, and has been in operation for over 35 years. They serve families at risk, including those facing little to no income, single parents and teen parents, abused women and children, and those coming out of shelter. They also serve fire victims, individuals with mental, emotional, and physical disabilities, and newcomers to the region of Peel.
Services include providing food, clothing, housewares, baby necessities, personal hygiene products, toys, school supplies and furniture.
The Journey is a collaboration of North Bramalea United Church, Rapport Youth and Family Services, Regeneration Community Outreach, and JET Mentoring Youth and Community Services, and provides a wide variety of programs, events, and services within their community.
Most importantly, they work together with the residents of Ardglen/Orenda to help transform their community. Transformation can take many forms – physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual. Programs include children’s after-school, such as a homework club, women’s programming, art classes, violin lessons, early-years program, teen programs, and more.
